By midnight, Ocean City finally gets interesting.
Dead of Summer leaves the daytime circus behind and heads straight for the lights. A skull-faced rider, black motorcycle, wet pavement, and the Ocean City amusement rides still glowing across the water.
It is part beach town, part night ride, and nothing like the souvenir shirts hanging three for twenty bucks on the boardwalk.
This is Ocean City, Maryland with the volume turned down and the attitude turned way up.
Summer does not end at sunset.
